Queens County GOP Endorses Mike Sapraicone for U.S. Senate
Glendale, NY—Tony Nunziato, Chairman of the Queens County Republican Party, announced the Party’s endorsement of Queens native and retired NYPD Detective and business owner, Mike Sapraicone, to run for the United States Senate seat currently held by Kirsten Gillibrand, following a meeting of the Queens GOP Executive Committee on Thursday evening, February 15, ahead of the State Republican Party’s nominating convention in Binghamton on February 22.
“We were fortunate to hear from three excellent candidates for U.S. Senate who were seeking our endorsement, but the Committee overwhelmingly believes that Mike Sapraicone will best communicate and represent our shared Republican values to the voters, and offers the best chance of beating Kirsten Gillibrand this November,” said Nunziato.
