Join Mike Sapraicone’s fight to stop cop killers from being released from prison!

The New York State Parole Board is considering the release of two more convicted cop killers right now.

If the Parole Board releases Eddie Matos, who murdered NYPD Officer Anthony Dwyer in October 1989, and Mitchell Martin, who shot NYPD Officer James Whittington to death in 1982, it would make 43 cops killers released in the last seven years.

Sign the petition now to demand Matos and Martin be kept in prison.

Mike is also fighting to make killing a police officer a federal crime to keep these criminals behind bars for life.

As a member of the U.S. Senate, Mike will sponsor and help enact the Sgt. Steve Owen Defending Our Defenders Act which would make the murder of a local enforcement officer a federal crime subject to the death penalty or life in prison.

Sign the petition now to support the Defending Our Defenders Act.

A retired NYPD Detective, Mike has been joined in this fight to end parole for cop killers by the New Yorkers who have been the most directly impacted by this injustice.

“Our police officers put their lives on the line every day on behalf of those they serve,” said line-of-duty widow, Linda Sledge. “Anyone who murders a hero in blue should be behind bars for life. My husband, NYPD Police Officer Cecil Frank Sledge, made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and I commend Mike Sapraicone for trying to ensure these heartless killers never see the light of day — and we never have to worry about the parole board releasing cop-killers.”
